It’s fucking just ruined. I went because the non-incisional double eyelid came loose, but I ended up with severe asymmetry in both double eyelids (uneven) and a strongly fixed look, making my eyes completely different from my previous natural eyes. They said I needed ptosis correction, so I did it, but instead my eyes became even sleepier-looking than before. I had social withdrawal for a while.
And on top of that, I asked them to keep the double eyelid thickness exactly the same as when I previously had the non-incisional method, but they made it basically twice as thick and created sausage double eyelids. When I say it seems the thickness got thicker, they still only keep talking about swelling and the patient’s scar tissue, so there’s no point in having a conversation.
Postoperative care is basically nonexistent. Even the follow-up check was scheduled because I asked. It’s uneven to anyone’s eyes, but the hospital kept blaming the patient’s swelling over and over, making time pass endlessly. At the very least, right after surgery, doesn’t the doctor stop by the patient and give an assessment like the surgery went well or how it was? I woke up from sleep anesthesia in the recovery room, and the doctor had gone home. What’s even more chilling is that they said the hospital was storing the fat taken from my thigh, but I only found out because a nurse mentioned it in passing 6 months later. Why didn’t they tell me such basic information before surgery or on the day of surgery? Anyway, in many ways, I’m the idiot for choosing a hospital that doesn’t even have this minimum level of system in place. Sigh
