I had it done in the winter of 2015. It was a long time ago, and I was very shy back then, so when an acquaintance of my mom said she had gotten pretty results here, I just went, got a consultation right away, and set a date.
At the time, I didn’t know much about cosmetic surgery, so I simply did what they told me there and had surgery with a natural, thin? low? line.
They made an incision and removed eyelid fat as well. Under local anesthesia, after the incision and eyelid suturing, they had me open my eyes on the operating table and showed me in the mirror that the line had been set like this.
My double eyelids have now become inner double eyelids. As I got older, I came to prefer more glamorous eyes with a higher line even if it looked a bit obvious, so I joined this community. But my current eyes are also so natural that people around me tell me not to get surgery, and if I don’t say I had surgery, no one would know I had it done. (The line doesn’t even show when I close my eyes.) If you prefer natural-looking eyes, I recommend it.
The epicanthoplasty scarring is somewhat severe.
The price was 1 million-something won for eyes + epicanthoplasty, but my mom paid, so I don’t know exactly.
