First of all, I had a revision rhinoplasty here last year. I don't really remember the price from then, so I'll just note it roughly. There was a bit of a wait for the consultation, but I got along well with the consultation manager, and although she wasn't overly detailed, she explained my nose's problems in a way that was pretty close to what I thought. Then, after consulting with the doctor I met next, I became convinced that this was the place I had to choose. The explanations were detailed and calm, and while explaining the problems with my nose step by step, they also explained all the materials and what needed to be used, so I could prepare myself mentally.
At my first surgery at another hospital, they only shaved down the nasal bridge for my hump nose and left both sides of the bridge uneven, so you could barely even tell I'd had nose surgery. Here, they did an osteotomy to make the bridge symmetrical and corrected the asymmetry on both sides. (During the consultation, they told me in advance that even if they did an osteotomy, there could still be asymmetry if the nose was raised, so I took that into account, but fortunately the asymmetry didn't happen.)
Maybe the septal cartilage used to raise the tip in the first surgery got absorbed, because my nostrils were gradually turning up and my nose was getting shorter. The doctor here restored it as close to normal as possible. It is a bit stiff because silicon, donated rib cartilage, and ear cartilage were used, but if not for that, my short, upturned nose might never have been restored to its original state.. So I'm satisfied now.
I didn't know this, but the doctor here told me that at my first hospital, the silicone in my nose had only been placed briefly on the tip of my nose, and that's how I found out. They also removed that short piece of silicone and even removed the filler I had gotten ages ago (while doing the surgery, they explained everything as they went..;)
When I had the revision here and took off the splint, I thought the nose was too high and too sharp and that it was ruined, but now, a year later, it has come down a bit and settled in, becoming a naturally straight nose. The nostrils that had been looking too lifted have improved a lot too. Saying I am 100% satisfied would be a lie, but I'm about 90% satisfied, so I think I did well to have my nose surgery here, and I'm grateful to the doctor for saving my nose, which had become a total mess after being botched at another hospital and was difficult to operate on.
If I had to mention one disappointment, it would be that I remember the operating room being very small, and that the nurses during surgery weren't very kind.. I still can't forget the emotionless look I saw when I was lying on the operating table.
