First of all, my exact goal is a natural-yet-defined nose with a straight-to-slightly-curved bridge and a rounded nasal tip that slopes down. I don’t like anything excessive, and rather than places that only care about raising the side profile of the nose, I’m currently going for consultations while looking at reviews of places that assess the columella and nasolabial angle and are good at creating this kind of line.
I visited DA because the reviews matched exactly the look I’m aiming for. The hospital is huge and there are lots of people. The consultant was kind. But I’m the type who doesn’t really care much about anyone except the director who will actually operate on my eyes, so I only focused on the consultation with the director. I had the consultation with the director, and because he was the detailed and meticulous type, he matched well with me. 1. He compared the photos I brought with my original nasal bridge, drew the nose line, and explained the expected line and surgical method. (It was easy to understand.) 2. He didn’t interrupt me or look like he was losing focus even when I talked for a long time. 3. Instead of just saying everything was possible no matter what, he explained the parts that had limitations and why those limitations existed. Because he made sure to explain why something wouldn’t work, I didn’t end up thinking, “Huh? Why not?” and could just go, “Ah, okay okay,” and accept the limitations of my nose. Those three were the biggest reasons I liked it, and I liked the consultation content. It is a large hospital, but I’m the type who thinks the director directly working on my nose is the most important thing, regardless of hospital size or anything else, so I focused on the director during the consultation.
