One Week After Nose Implant Removal

Before<before removal (costal cartilage, ear cartilage, AlloDerm)><surgery day, second day, third day><third day><one week>One year ago, I had revision surgery using costal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and AlloDerm for the nasal bridge. That is how the surgery was done. I asked for it to look natural, and the reason for the revision was that there was a visible boundary between the nasal tip and bridge, and the nasal tip was crooked. I just wanted to have a somewhat cute, small nose. The consultation ended in less than 5 minutes, with the doctor confidently saying not to worry and that it would turn out pretty! I was scared, but I heard they were good at noses (from what I had searched years ago ㅠ I went there without searching any further), so I trusted them, paid, and had the surgery ㅠ The operating room was also a bit ㅠㅠ Anyway.. I did it, but from the beginning my nose was completely upturned, and I don't know if they pushed the costal cartilage all the way to the end of my philtrum, but my philtrum became longer, swollen, and it was a mess. On top of that, my nose was clearly crooked ㅠ And the raised nostrils never came down, so I had to walk around with my head lowered every day and couldn't meet close friends ㅠ My nose was so hard, and it was uncomfortable even with a mask on ㅠ I kept postponing plans and mostly met new people, and every time I looked at my nose I was so stressed that I had indigestion ㅜ I often took medication from the hospital too ㅜ Later, the nasal tip showed through badly, became even sharper, the crookedness showed more, and when seen from a 45-degree angle it looked like a mummy nose ㅠ After enduring it for a year, I had surgery. After that failed costal cartilage surgery, I happened to find this community through an internet search and learned about removal too. If I had known earlier, I would never have done a revision surgery ㅜ Anyway, for a year I went in and out of this community, got information, looked at photos, and gradually found some stability. I only went to two places. I chose the one I felt slightly more drawn to. First of all, I liked that they do not use a splintㅠㅠ They said that if the nasal bridge had been shaved, they would shave the sides to make it look natural. I worried until the day of surgery about whether to remove the AlloDerm or not, but looking back now, I think it was good that I removed it. Those who have AlloDerm or MegaDerm will probably bruise a lot because of adhesions. I had huge bruises tooㅜ As soon as I left the hospital after surgery, I bought bruise cream, booked accommodation, and worked really hard on cold compresses there. Now the stitches have been removed, and looking today, the columella still seems crooked ㅜㅜ but for now I am going to wait a bit longer. There is also a boundary between the nasal tip and bridge ㅠ but I will watch it until the swelling in the nasal bridge goes down. What I felt right after it ended was that the nasal tip was soft and comfortable. Still, compared with some doctors who only rush to make the approximate shape, do not think about the patient's nose at all, and just stuff materials in like a factory, this doctor seemed trustworthy because even just looking at the blog, it seemed like they were constantly researching something. I think I need to keep watching a bit more. For now, I am happy to be free from the devil nose. I don't know how rambling this got, but I wanted to help ㅠ I will write again later in more detail by date ㅜ I removed absolutely everything!
