One-Month Review of Medial Epicanthoplasty and Lateral Canthoplasty

I already had double eyelids, but my eyes were small and narrow, so I mainly looked into canthoplasty! I didn’t want to stray too far from my original image, and I feel like my eyes naturally got bigger, so I’m leaving a review.

The reason I chose Eye Fit was that the consultation was kind, and they said the director had been at a large hospital before opening his own clinic, so somehow I trusted him more! The director seemed to pursue a natural look, so I felt our preferred styles matched, and after visiting 5-6 hospitals for consultations, I put down a deposit.

First, when I looked at Eye Fit reviews, many said both the director and the consultant were kind, and just like the reviews, they helped me with the consultation kindly. I liked that the consultant didn’t pressure me to put down a deposit. The director also only talked about the surgeries I needed and seemed not to bring up unnecessary things. I asked whether I also needed double eyelid surgery, just in case, and he said I probably didn’t really need it, so I had medial epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lowering of the outer eye corners! I did not do lower canthoplasty.

The operating room nurses were also kind, and the surgery finished well without any particular discomfort! I heard people say that after lateral canthoplasty, their eyes sting and they live with artificial tears,,, and I had heard there are a lot of D-shaped deformity side effects, so I was really worried.

I asked the director to widen my eyes as much as possible within a range that would not cause side effects, and I’m satisfied with my daily life with no eye stinging at all. Before the swelling went down, I was anxious and asked the consultant various things through KakaoTalk, and she answered kindly haha It’s now been a little over a month, so the scar from the medial epicanthoplasty is slightly visible, but it doesn’t show with makeup, and for now I’m going to keep watching the scar.

Other people don’t really notice that I had surgery, but from my point of view, even on the default camera, my eyes look like how I used to Photoshop them before surgery, so I’m satisfied.

This is a surgery review pursuing natural beauty.
