Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Day 3 after nose surgery at ㄱㅇㅈ

Hello. I had surgery on Monday, and I’m currently on day 3~ I’m going to get the nasal packing removed later, but before that I’m bored, so I’m leaving a review.

I’ll upload detailed photo changes once the splint is removed. For now, broadly speaking, I had my hump shaved down, ear cartilage used for the nasal tip, and fascia used for nose lengthening. I did not have alar reduction.

On the day of surgery, I went to the clinic feeling kind of dazed, like, am I really having surgery? The director, consultant, and nurse were all still kind. I remember everything before sedation, and even when I talked nonsense, they all laughed and went along with it. They also played the songs I requested and gave me a stuffed toy to hold in my hand. The surgery took a little under an hour, and after finishing the postoperative care, I think it was a little over an hour in total.

Right now I have a splint on, so I don’t really know what my nose shape looks like, but both the director and consultant said the surgery went very well. I’m also satisfied with the nasal tip that I can see under the splint.

For now, I don’t know if this is just my constitution, but I don’t see any bruising or swelling around the splint at all. (This was my first surgery, so I didn’t know I had this kind of constitution.) Will bruising and swelling show up once the splint is removed? Anyway, it’s a bit disappointing that I still haven’t been able to clearly see my nose shape, but I’ll come back with a photo review on the day the splint is removed.

Also, after surgery, the pain is worse in my ear than my nose, and the ear sometimes itches too (at the incision site).

I’ll keep posting nose surgery reviews whenever I can!
