When I first had nose surgery, I didn’t know much, and I raised my small, low, thin nose with silicone and septal cartilage, which caused problems
Because the silicone was moving, I had a second revision surgery to improve the silicone and raise the nasal tip with a cartilage graft, but after a year and a half, the nasal tip cartilage showed through, it became deviated and red, and every day I felt anxious and touching my nose was difficult
After a lot of thought, I asked around and went to Bomnal, and what I wanted was just one thing. I wanted to stop touching my nose again and live comfortably with a nose I could touch for the rest of my life
I didn’t want a big increase in height, but to prevent it from getting lower and to prevent deformities from developing from my original nose, such as an upturned nose, I had upturned nose correction and revision surgery after dermis was harvested from my buttock, and I went through a fast recovery process~~
At the time of surgery, it didn’t hurt; I only felt the sensation of being touched, and I was in a hazy state of consciousness. But actually, I was glad I could hear the medical staff’s attentive care and understand the process. It was different from what I had worried about..
They also checked my original nose, and harvesting dermis from my buttock was no big deal. As long as scar care is done after surgery, for several months to several years, the buttock may feel uncomfortable during certain exercises or yoga, but that’s something to accept. I’m living my daily life without any problems.
After surgery, I was surprised because the height was so excessive, but I also thought of it as farming for one year, considering the absorption process after 1 year~ Until 2~3 months, it was high enough for everyone to notice, and from month 3, it gradually settled and absorption progressed.
Because my nose was very low, the surgery was done to raise it as much as possible, and as it settled, there was a tendency for the dermis to lose support and lie down, but I thought that was natural. After asking about it, at 6 months I received a correction procedure where it was pushed into place, and it was simple and finished quickly.
There was more swelling than my first surgery, but recovery was also fast, so I returned to work without problems in daily life.
I had also seen many posts saying that dermis later all disappears.. it bends.. the shape doesn’t come out as desired.. the buttock is uncomfortable, and so on. But after doing it myself and experiencing it, I think worrying only brings bigger worries. The aftercare and surgical result make the revision surgery cost feel worth it, and I’m currently very satisfied.
I can wash my face comfortably while blowing my nose, it feels soft and like my own flesh, and I’m living with a naturally high nose
Even if more absorption happens later, I think it will still come out about as high as the silicone height. I’m going to live without being too greedy and be satisfied with a comfortable nose.
For those worrying about revision surgery, please consider dermis revision surgery too. You can’t live by continuing to only have nose surgeries.. If you want a comfortable nose, there is also a cafe, so take a look^^
