Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

I don’t recommend private clinics either.. Even after 1 year, what I thought was swelling…

{Image 0 missing} During the first consultation, they said they would correct my bulbous nose, improve the upturned-nose appearance, and lower the outer sides of my nostrils that were raised. But my nose still looks like it is tightly swollen, and compared with before surgery, the triangular shape of the bulbous nose looks even more emphasized.. At the first consultation, they had pointed out before surgery that “the nasal tip contour is lacking and it has a round, soft look”.. Why does it feel like those two things got worse.. The nostrils are not improved at all; if anything, they look more lifted from the front, and the droopy columella/hanging nose look is the same..

{Image 1 missing} Left: current nose after surgery / Right: photo I showed before surgery They said that if I brought a photo on the day of surgery, they would make the silicone height and line the same. As for the height.. From the beginning, I said during my primary surgery that my low nasal bridge was a complex and requested about 3 mm, but I only found out later that it had been raised by about 1 mm. If only the silicone height on the nasal bridge were low, I could concede a hundred times and understand, but

the line is what stresses me out the most. I brought photos of straight to straight-semi-curved lines like Lim Bora and Sulli, and verbally requested a straight semi-curved beoseon line multiple times... but the nasal bridge curves like a semi-curved beoseon line, and the nasal tip is blunt.

The nasal tip is also too round, and even the columella is round and droops, making it stand out more. (As more of the columellar mucous membrane area is exposed, it not only looks aesthetically strange, but my nose gets dry and smells, so even when I’m just sitting still I’m so bothered by the smell from my nose.. After surgery, I have more runny nose, yellow sticky discharge, and things like nasal crusts, so I have to clean my nose several times a day. <- They said this point is not inflammation, so I’m living with it and putting up with it..)

{Image 2 missing} They emphasized having a pretty nasal tip shape so much, so I only waited for the swelling to go down, but even after 1 year, the nasal tip is just round and puffy as if it is still swollen, and there is no contour at all.. Still, I thought maybe it had gotten higher than at first.. so I tried in my own way to get used to my nose..

Even the nasal tip has lowered again.. They confidently said the nasal tip would absolutely not drop, but as the nasal tip that had gone up slightly lowered, it became even wider and flatter from the front,,

Bulbous nose not corrected, upturned nose not corrected, droopy columella/hanging nose not corrected, nasal tip still blunt and round Instead, from the front the nostrils look more lifted, and it became a thick bulbous nose with a bulky nasal tip I requested a straight semi-curved line, but it became a semi-curved beoseon line; nasal tip lowered again

{Image 4 missing} When I overlay the photos from before nose surgery and now.. I wonder if I went through months of being unable to have a social life, spent a large amount of money, and suffered for this... This isn’t natural-looking; it just wasn’t improved ㅜㅜ I didn’t take on that money, time, and risk just to raise the nasal bridge 1 mm, and we had agreed to operate on the nasal tip too. They even identified my complex first and said how they would improve it.. but there was no improvement, it wasn’t the line or height I requested, and the nasal tip was barely raised and then dropped again and drooped ㅜㅠ Of course my parents don’t think I had a nose surgery, and no one I meet for the first time thinks so either; even if I tell them I did, they are really surprised. The common reaction is, “That’s after surgery?” You can feel the nuance ㅠ There were even doctors at other plastic surgery clinics I went to for petit procedures who cautiously asked first, “Your nose... you had it done, right?” No matter how kind, detailed, and communicative the consultation is, the surgical result is separate.. I also spent a long time researching online, went to consultations at several places, and decided, but still... I hope this helps those deciding on nose surgery.
