In the first review, I wrote that we were surprised because there was more swelling right after surgery than expected, but that it was gradually going down and she was becoming prettier. Now the swelling is almost completely gone, everything has fully settled, and it looks even more natural. People around her have been telling her a lot that she looks younger, so my mom is very satisfied too.
Before surgery, the area under her eyes was hollow and her dark circles were severe, so she always looked tired. Now her under-eye area is smooth and lively, so makeup applies much better too. In particular, the areas where wrinkles used to set deeply when she smiled have become much softer, so her expression looks much brighter and more radiant. At first she was very worried, but now she looks in the mirror and laughs, saying, “I should have done it sooner!”
What I’m most satisfied with above all is that it settled naturally. It feels like the fat that was originally part of my mom’s face has been neatly organized, without any awkward or unnatural feeling, so people seeing her for the first time don’t even think she had cosmetic surgery. Compared with the 1-month mark, when we were a little worried because of the swelling, it is much more stable now, and the result came out prettier too.
At first she felt burdened by it, but now she says it was a really good choice. She looks naturally younger to the point that she thinks of it not as cosmetic surgery but really as a “procedure that makes you look younger,” so I also feel glad I gave it to her as a filial gift. For those considering under-eye fat repositioning, I really want to say that satisfaction increases more and more as time passes!
