I had surgery yesterday afternoon, went to a private room around 6:30, and started drinking water from 10:30.
I really couldn’t sleep at all (I’m still not sleepy now), finally fell asleep at 5 a.m., and I think I woke up around 10–11 a.m.
They said discharge was originally in the morning, but because of my guardian’s schedule, I left a little after 3, and now I’m taking the subway home lol I had two facial contouring procedures: cheekbones and reducing chin length..? The consultant said I could go without being admitted,
but after surgery, I stayed hospitalized for one day. Honestly, I don’t think I was really given much proper guidance. My assigned consultant also changed...
I mean, it didn’t feel very detailed. Still, there wasn’t anything that made me angry or annoyed.
Maybe because it’s not days 3–5 yet, when swelling is said to be the worst, I’m okay. Toothache, not really..? It’s just bothersome, but if I describe the overall pain, it feels like someone bruised my face???
I drank 2–3 liters of water, the blood drain inside my mouth didn’t fill up, and I had a urinary catheter and something like a glucose IV until the morning.
The next day I couldn’t talk, but I didn’t need square jaw surgery anyway.. . I still haven’t eaten anything, so I’m going to go to Bonjuk and buy some porridge.
My nosebleed showed a slight pink color and then stopped coming out. Still, I think I’ll only roughly know after I go on Monday, remove something like the support, and get past the 7 days of intense swelling.
