Around this time last year, I had facial liposuction done at an event price through some app. At the time, I had it done on my face, deep cheek fat, and double chin. Since I live outside Seoul, it was hard to go back to have the stitches removed, so the surgery was finished with dissolvable sutures, and there was no separate aftercare. Oh, I woke up from anesthesia once during the surgery. So I thought maybe I was just the type who wakes up easily, but when I told the place where I had arm liposuction that I had woken up from anesthesia before, they said that meant the anesthesia had been done incorrectly. Until I went in for a follow-up after 3 months, I was extremely stressed because of cheek hollowing, but when I compared it with the photos taken at the clinic, I couldn’t really feel the cheek hollowing? My face was originally asymmetrical, so it’s still asymmetrical after liposuction, but if I were asked to do it again, I don’t think I would.
What I felt over the course of a year is that there wasn’t much effect on the double chin, the area where I had deep cheek fat removed left scars where the stitches were, and every now and then I lose sensation in my lips. They said I really lack elasticity for my age. Maybe because of that, there is also sagging, and people around me say I looked better before, so I regret not researching more carefully before going, but I don’t want to do it again..
