Director Jang Yu-jin

Consultation fee 10,000 KRW, no CT fee

I had a complex about my bulbous nose, so I was looking into my first surgery, and this was my first time ever getting a consultation. To just say the result of the hospital I had expectations for, I was very disappointed.

The wait was about 50 minutes, and the actual consultation time with the director was less than 10 minutes.

I received consultations in the order of consultant, director, consultant.

When I first consulted with the consultant, we only very briefly discussed the parts I wanted to improve.

When I consulted with the director, it was less than 10 minutes, but she talked about things exactly as I had thought to a surprising degree, so up to that point I thought it was okay.

Since my nasal bridge is not low, if the consultation had been along the lines of keeping the hump, using no implant, and saying alar reduction was not necessary,

The problem was here: when I consulted with the consultant at the end, she said the hump should be shaved down a bit and that alar reduction also had to be done.

When I said I had not heard any such explanation, she said, “They must have written it down because it’s necessary...”

So I asked her to check again, and after the consultant left, she came back in 15-20 minutes later and said the director’s other consultation had just ended.

I thought, “I can’t do it here...” She did explain again afterward, but honestly it did not register with me. I did not trust them.

And I was very surprised when I heard the price. They said it was 6.8 million KRW, discounted to 6.1 million, and 5.8 million if I reserved that day.

I’ve never been called a pushover anywhere, but should I say it felt like I had become one?

Other things I remember are that CCTV viewing costs 100,000 KRW, the CCTV is discarded after confirmation, aftercare is for 1 year, and material costs are charged separately.

After surgery, you can see the director after 2 weeks; you cannot see her before then. There was no separate pressure to book,

but there was no separate summary of the details or business card, and as I was leaving, the first thought that came to mind was, “I guess they think I won’t have surgery here.”

What I want to say is that if there is a hospital you had expectations for, definitely go for a consultation yourself.

Next week I’m going for consultations at hospitals around Gangnam, and I’ll try to leave another review then.
