I went for the consultation on time, but they said the director had gone into surgery, so I would have to wait an hour and a half. When I said I would wait, the manager said thank you and then, “Then shall we talk about a surgery date?” which caught me off guard. I declined and waited for the time being. From that point on, the manager made me very uncomfortable. Her tone was kind, but her expression was not. It was also uncomfortable that she diagnosed me first. After the wait, I met the director, who apologized and said he would examine me carefully, then pointed out things about my overall face. It was nice that he considered facial harmony and pointed out things I hadn’t known. But from my perspective as someone concerned about my eyes, I questioned whether this was a place that could do revision eye surgery well.
