I went to my consultation right on time, but the doctor was in surgery, so I was told I’d have to wait an hour and a half. When I said I’d wait, the manager said, ‘Thank you, then shall we talk about the surgery date?’ which caught me off guard. I declined and waited for now. From that point on, the manager made me very uncomfortable. The tone was polite, but the expression was not. They did the diagnosis first, which was also uncomfortable. After the wait, I met the doctor, who apologized and said they would examine me carefully, and they pointed out everything about my face overall. It was good that they brought up things I hadn’t noticed, considering facial harmony. But from my perspective, being worried about my eyes, I wondered whether they would be good at revision double-eyelid surgery.
