I was stressed because of my short nose, bulbous nose, blunt nasal tip, and nostrils that flare every time I smile. At first, I was only going to get a nostril reduction consultation, but somehow I think I ended up doing everything possible except the nasal bridge.. I wanted a very natural look, so I didn’t want it raised a lot, but I was told that my nasal skin is very thick and my cartilage is on the smaller side, so even if I did everything, my nose couldn’t change dramatically anyway. That actually reassured me, so I went ahead!
And right after surgery, I heard something really surprising. I used septal cartilage and ear cartilage, but they said there was a crack in my septum…! (I proceeded without getting a separate CT..) So they said they couldn’t harvest much septal cartilage..
I recommend that everyone here get a nasal CT first whenever possible..
So after the surgery, the director asked me whether I had gotten a lot of nosebleeds when I was young and had laser treatment on the inner mucous membrane, or whether I had ever injured the nose area, but I haven’t… So that surprised me a bit, and they said my cartilage was already on the weaker side, so I have to keep the cotton packing in a little longer than other people..
Anyway, I just hope there’s no inflammation, nothing collapses, and it turns out naturally well, please
