It hasn’t quite been 3 years since the surgery yet, but I’m very satisfied now. I used to be skeptical about both LASIK and LASEK, but as I got older, wearing contact lenses put too much strain on my eyes. Actually, I haven’t tried other LASIK or LASEK procedures, so I don’t know the difference.. Anyway, I’m living very satisfied with SMILE LASIK. I’m not sure if it’s a postoperative aftereffect or if it’s gradually getting better, but even now when I use a PC, there’s some glare?.. So I wear blue-light-blocking glasses while working, and other than that, I haven’t really felt any discomfort so far. Whether it’s LASIK, LASEK, SMILE, or whatever, just do it!! A whole new world really opens up haha
