It’s been about 5 years since I had an upper canthoplasty. There is still some scarring from the upper canthoplasty, but my eye shape became prettier and improved. It does look like I had something done, but my eyes already looked like I had double eyelid surgery anyway, so I don’t really worry about it. If you are someone whose double eyelids don’t look surgical at all, don’t get an upper canthoplasty. But if your eyes already look like you had double eyelid surgery, I think upper canthoplasty could make your eyes look more open and refreshed, and it would be fine.
