Ha... I live outside Seoul, and I wondered if I really had to go all the way to Seoul just to get double eyelid surgery, so I impulsively had incisional double eyelid surgery with ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty at a clinic that had an early appointment available. My impression changed because of the excessive epicanthoplasty and uneven eyelid lines. I never imagined the result would be this serious, and because people say double eyelid surgery is basically a simple procedure these days, I just trusted the doctor and booked it without doing any online research or visiting clinics to compare my eye shape, surgical method, etc... Aside from aesthetic satisfaction, I had functional problems, so I regretted it so much, and I was devastated by the surgeon’s “not my problem” attitude At that time, epicanthoplasty reconstruction/restoration was a surgery that could only be done at exactly one place in Seoul, there weren’t many successful cases, and the price was more than twice what I paid for the double eyelid surgery, so I couldn’t even dare to consider it.
Now I’m no longer a student, I’ve moved up to the Seoul metropolitan area, and I’m earning money, so this time I was determined not to fail. The clinic I chose after seriously doing online research and visiting clinics in person,.
Out of all the surgeries I’ve had in my life, this is the one I’m most satisfied with, and I don’t feel the money was wasted at all I recommend it twice, three times over. Of course, everyone has their own preferred shape (sharp, round, round-sharp, etc.,,), but I didn’t care about that and was looking for a clinic that could properly close up my wide-open inner eye corners in one go without them opening again, so maybe that’s why I’m even more satisfied.. haha. Right now the shape of the inner corners is uneven. Other people don’t really notice unless they look closely, and I feel like touching it again from here would ruin it, so I’m just living with it.
