I had genioplasty because I had a recessed chin. Honestly, aside from the sore throat from general anesthesia, there wasn't much discomfort after surgery. They also took good care of me after the operation. However, in terms of aesthetics, I don't think my needs were communicated well. But I think this is basically a typical reason why people with a long midface end up dissatisfied after cosmetic surgery. If the midface is long, no matter what you do, the result feels a bit awkward.
