In January of the year before last, I had epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction + incisional double eyelid surgery, but before even a month had passed, my right eye came undone, so I got only the double eyelid fixed at the same clinic as aftercare..
Even though it was an incisional procedure, it came undone before even a full month had passed. The doctor blamed me, saying it happened because I opened my eyes without putting strength into them, which was so absurd, but there were exactly two reasons why I got the aftercare revision at the same clinic.
First, I really liked the left eye that didn’t come undone. I like a very, very natural look, and even though it was incisional, it looked so natural, almost like I had double eyelids but also almost like I didn’t, so people around me had no idea I’d had double eyelid surgery.
Second was the cost. Because it was free..
The left eye that came undone was done by incision again, of course, and they also made an incision at the outer end of the right eye because they said it looked like it might slightly come undone too. I had the stitches removed today, and I had the revision surgery to correct the asymmetry, but they made the incision on the eye that came undone deeper than before, so I am worried it might become asymmetrical again. For now, I’m going to watch how the swelling goes down…
I really like the eye that didn’t come undone, but I absolutely do not want to recommend this clinic to anyone I know. I know it as a clinic that is somewhat famous for revision surgery, but I really don’t want to recommend it to anyone I know.
I feel like there will be a lot of scarring, but I hope at least the asymmetry gets correctedㅠㅠㅠㅠ
