2 years after double-jaw surgery, 8 months after lateral cheekbone surgery

The first two months after surgery were really hard, but as the swelling gradually went down and I saw my occlusion becoming aligned, I had a time that I was truly very satisfied with. I had an open bite, so now I can use my front teeth, which I couldn’t use before, and when I sleep deeply, I no longer sleep with my mouth open. More than anything, I’m really happy that my side profile, which used to look like a bird’s beak, has improved a lot. After a little over a year, I became more ambitious and also had lateral cheekbone surgery at Dacapo Dental Clinic for 100% cosmetic purposes. After cheekbone surgery, in less than a week I very carefully ate soft regular food, so I didn’t have much discomfort. When I opened my mouth wide, I heard a pin sound(?) or something like a grinding sound, so I was a bit anxious, but as time passed, maybe the bone fused, that sound stopped. In daily life there aren’t many times I need to open my mouth widely, so it doesn’t matter much, but when I keep my mouth open, it feels very stiff, which is a bit hard, and overall I’m satisfied with everything else. If someone around me is considering surgery, I tend to recommend that they do it as soon as possible. Because my personal satisfaction is that high.
