First, my original nose had columellar retraction + bulbous nose + low nose bridge It was just the worst nose Because of that, I went around to 10 places for in-person consultations and tried to choose a hospital carefully I have a soft, cute-looking face, so a flashy and sharp nose wouldn't suit me, so I started looking for hospitals that mainly do a straight-line feel + rounded nasal tip shape As a result, I narrowed it down to Nanao / Migo, and finally chose Nanao (I also liked Migo, so if you want a design similar to mine, go get a consultation there too)
<Consultation> Every place said I needed to use costal cartilage, and I wanted to finish it in one surgery, so I decided to just use autologous costal cartilage
I brought photos of celebrities I wanted (Song Ji-hyo + NewJeans Hanni), and interestingly, they matched exactly with the design the director recommended And because I needed the columella brought down and my nostril wings were drooping, he recommended alar lifting, and said not to do alar base reduction right now, but to do it later if I wanted to adjust more
Also, the director seemed to consider the line starting from the forehead very important! He set the starting point of my nose slightly lower than the middle of the pupil to suit my image, so I could keep my original image and still have a cute feeling
A custom silicone implant was made to match this height, and since my nose was very low to begin with, we used 1 mm-2 mm silicone
<Day of surgery> Everyone was really kind, and the procedure was done under sleep anesthesia One tip: organize photos of the parts you want!! The consultant printed the photos and put them up in the operating room, and the director referred to them during surgery Right up until anesthesia, I emphasized to the director, “straight-line feel with no line + rounded nasal tip + starting point + bringing down the columella” hahaha
<After surgery> Here, they connected tubes? to the cotton packing, so breathing was a little easier, and they attached a pain-control injection, so there wasn't major pain. After two days, the cotton was removed, and they gave me high-pressure oxygen therapy and washed my hair. The director also kept checking on me And there were really many Chinese and Japanese patients. I guess it's a very famous hospital abroad
It's only day 10, but I'm satisfied haha The columella shape is really so pretty, and the nasal tip is rounded, so it looks natural And because it has a straight-line feel rather than a straight-with-slight-curve look, it looks even more natural The director said he wanted to bring the columella down more but that was the limit, and he seemed disappointed hahaha I hope the swelling goes down quickly
