Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

It’s already been a full year since my rhinoplasty

Before<Before>Before<Before>After<After>After<After>I had a bulbous nose from the front, and from the side it was a high, beoseon-shaped nose, and the way my nose looked from the front was a complex of mine, so I decided to get surgery.

Since I’m from Gyeongbuk, I tried to consult at about three places as close by as possible before booking surgery.

At the first hospital, they kept saying that the nose shape I wanted was absolutely possible and that every procedure I wanted could be done, but I didn’t really trust them. At the second, the doctor seemed to lack confidence, so I didn’t go there either.. At the third hospital, they firmly told me that the nose shape I wanted could not be achieved, and they were honestly kind of rude(?), but somehow they seemed confident.. The reviews were all good too, so I booked the surgery that same day.

Their schedule was already full for that month and until the next day, so I would only have been able to get it the month after next, but luckily, someone who was originally supposed to have surgery got sick with the flu, so I was able to have surgery that day.

Finally, the surgery day came, and I went to the hospital and prepared for surgery. Since I had a bulbous nose, I had surgery on the nasal bridge + nasal tip using septal cartilage. (I was originally going to get alar reduction too, but I was scared of scarring, so I didn’t..)

The surgery took about an hour. They did a simple blood test, and the nurses plucked my nose hairs. Then I was anesthetized and had the surgery while slightly asleep.

After it was over, I looked in the mirror and oh no.. my eyes looked so close together..! My nose was also so blocked that my voice sounded nasal... At first I thought it had failed..

But after about 1 to 2 weeks, once the swelling went down, my eyes went back to normal, and my nose turned out really natural and pretty..

The hardest part was living for a week with cotton packed in my nostrils... and not being able to wash... Because of the cotton, I had to breathe through my mouth.. Porridge was the easiest thing to eat, so I only ate porridge.. (so it did have a dieting effect) Since I couldn’t wash, I was embarrassed to go anywhere.. After 1 week, they removed the cotton, disinfected it, and I got a swelling injection. After 10 days, I went back to the hospital again for a follow-up and got another swelling injection..

Honestly, I didn’t feel like I had become extremely pretty or anything, but people around me said they thought I was an influencer.. They said I had become prettier in a way that didn’t look obvious, and gave me praise that was almost too much.. haha Still, I had been really nervous that it might fail, so I thought, I’m glad it turned out well..

My nasal bridge became more defined, and my nasal tip became slimmer. I had heard that I had a bulbous nose my whole life, but these days I even hear that my nose is small..

Considering I chose the hospital in a hurry, I think I was lucky that they did such a good job.. haha

I don’t really have any side effects either, and the incision line is faint, so it doesn’t show much.. I think it was a good choice^^
