4 Months After Soft Zygoma Reduction

Sigh, it’s been four months since I had surgery with this technique that seemed unbelievable: it’s not quite a quick zygoma reduction, but it also addresses the 45-degree cheekbone, through a tiny incision in the temple/cheekbone area, and under sedation anesthesia. I chose this method because I was really, really scared of general anesthesia, and I was also very afraid of cheek sagging from overcorrection. In the end, I’m satisfied. After having the surgery, I realized my head shape naturally makes my cheekbones look wide, so if I had gone through general anesthesia and even an intraoral incision, I think I might have been less satisfied with the after-result. Recovery really only took about three to four days, so considering the time and pain I put in, I’m very satisfied. My face width became slimmer, like it was gently pressed from both sides haha. I don’t have protruding cheekbones, so the visible effect isn’t dramatic, but if you’re considering surgery for the same reasons as me, I cautiously recommend getting a consultation..
