10 Years Since Nose Surgery

I had nose surgery at the young age of 18, and 10 years have passed. Actually, should I say 11 years have passed? I wanted to do it because of a complex at a young age, and my dad happened to know someone at a hospital that was close to home, so I had it done there. Fortunately, I had no side effects. I had it done with silicone and ear cartilage, and since it has been so long, I’ve forgotten how many millimeters it was. Sometimes when I had a bad headache, I would also feel a foreign-body sensation, but since I had thought my nose was practically nonexistent (both the bridge and the tip), I was very satisfied. I do have difficult memories from the first day, like not being able to breathe and having to sleep sitting up, but the memories of feeling amazed and happy are bigger. On top of that, they made it look natural, so unless someone has a good eye or touches my nose, a lot of people don’t even know I had it done haha Especially people I meet for the first time.

Although I’m considering removing the silicone from my nose (because of personal anxiety), it helped me break away, even a little, from the complex I had in my early to mid-20s, so I don’t regret my nose surgery.

However, I hope everyone won’t do it recklessly like I did, and will consider it carefully before having surgery.^^
