Review of lateral canthoplasty and lower eyelid lowering (about 8 months later)

Before <before surgery> After <about 3-4 weeks after surgery (I don’t remember exactly)> After <8 months later> I’m posting this in case it helps. I had been thinking about lateral canthoplasty and lower eyelid lowering for a long time. I’m not the type whose scars heal especially well. So among the possible side effects in reviews of lateral canthoplasty and lower eyelid lowering, I was very worried about scarring!! My eyes were very short horizontally, and the outer corners were quite upturned. (They were like fennec fox eyes..) It wasn’t that I especially wanted to lower the outer corners, but I didn’t like that my eye length was too narrow, and I wanted only lateral canthoplasty rather than lower eyelid lowering. But that clinic said they only do lateral canthoplasty together with lower eyelid lowering.. I looked up a lot about surgical methods. There are several methods for lateral canthoplasty too. At that clinic, they said that when doing lateral canthoplasty with lower eyelid lowering, they proceed by firmly fixing and tying it in a way that reduces scarring. If lowering them, I wanted to lower them only enough to slightly correct the eye shape, and since my two eyes were also very uneven, I thought it would be good to match them.

I’m very satisfied now~ It turned out natural, so people don’t really notice unless I say I had surgery~ I’ve heard a lot that my eyes look clearer and that something looks more natural when I open my eyes. There’s no scarring, and I didn’t get conjunctivitis either! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ satisfied satisfied

The clinic doesn’t do much post-op care. And I think they make it look natural rather than overcorrecting. The doctor was the type to say clearly that something can’t be done if it can’t be done.
