Phew, sorry for starting with a sigh. It has not yet been a full year since I had nose surgery. I had the surgery around early May 2018. Silicone for the nasal bridge and costal cartilage for the nasal tip. Of course, I didn’t know they would use costal cartilage from my first surgery. I had asked them to use ear cartilage. But after the surgery was over, they said there wasn’t enough material, so they used donated costal cartilage. When I came home and looked, my ear was perfectly fine. Does it make sense to say they didn’t use ear cartilage at all from the start, and then used donated costal cartilage because there wasn’t enough material? Honestly, I’m not sure. Right now I’m suffering from inflammation. I don’t drink or smoke. It only gets better when I take medicine, and once I finish the prescribed medicine, the inflammation comes back. Without antibiotics, my nose keeps swelling up.. I don’t like the shape either. Because my originally straight nose became crooked. When I asked the director, they gave me an answer I couldn’t understand. “Do you know where I put the donated costal cartilage?” “Where did you put it?” “I put it on the right side.” Ah .............. lol Seriously lol Back then I didn’t understand it either, and when they said it would be okay once the swelling went down, I just said yes and left. Like the biggest fool in the world. So I’m thinking of removing the silicone and costal cartilage in my nose. This is my review of my nose surgery less than 1 year later.
