It has been over 10 years since I had double-jaw surgery, so my septal cartilage couldn’t be used, and I only had my nasal tip done with ear cartilage. I also had an extremely bulbous nose, it was a nose that had spread because of the double-jaw surgery.. and it had thick scar tissue because of MISKO With the first surgery, the correction was not done to a satisfying degree, and I’m now about to have revision surgery. During the consultation, I was told that my skin is thick and that it’s a difficult nose, but I also have a significant burden and aversion toward implants, so I only did the nasal tip, and now no one can tell I had nose surgery Between the ideal of the look I want and realistic limitations, I look in a hand mirror every day and just worry more deeply.. I went for another consultation this time too, and they gave me sincere, realistic guidance, so I’m going to try a second revision surgery without an implant..
Silicone.. many people approach it easily for their first surgery, but why am I so afraid of silicone? They said 3 mm is common, but I can’t even imagine it. I also feel burdened by the impression changing a lot, and a high, delicate-looking nose would be so pretty, but a life with an implant... I wonder how many years it can remain stable..
If the change is still subtle even after revision surgery, would I get surgery again? Even if I were to have a third surgery with silicone + autologous costal cartilage, I’m not pursuing a flashy nose, so I don’t think I’d be satisfied in its own way either.. Nose surgery is really difficult.
