My first surgery was about 9 years ago at another hospital, where I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction, but one side came undone about 1-2 years ago. But my schedule was busy, so I just left it, and then I had time off, so I did it this time. I wanted to go back to the hospital where I had it done before because it wasn’t bad, but too much time had passed, I couldn’t remember the hospital name, and it seemed to have closed, so I was looking for reviews on where to go. I chose this place because it seemed to do natural-looking results well! The conditions I chose were: 1) I had plans at the end of November, so a place with as little swelling as possible! 2) I didn’t want anything dramatic, so a place good at inline / in-out lines! 3) A hospital that doesn’t strongly recommend other surgeries 4) A place where the director is kind and has a lot of experience with double-eyelid revision surgery I think that was what I wanted. Then I realized the reviews I liked were for Director Lee Han-byeol at I-Ting Clinic, so after thinking about it, I made a consultation appointment right away and went. I knew originally that you’re supposed to visit several places for consultations, but no matter how much I searched, there wasn’t really anywhere else I liked more, so I went thinking I’d at least visit this place and decide. The director was kind too, and it seemed like it would be okay, so I just booked right away! After the consultation, they said that for my eyes, I probably didn’t need separate ptosis correction, and that natural adhesion in an inline shape would be good. They said my eyes are the type where the double eyelid comes undone easily, so an incision would be needed, but they would first make it as firm as possible with the buried-suture method. (I found incision burdensome because the recovery period is long, so I wanted buried-suture as much as possible.)
All photos were taken bare-faced with the basic camera. Whenever I took photos, the upper part of my eyes was covered, so I felt like I came out looking fierce, which was disappointing. But now they’ve gotten naturally bigger, so when I look at photos, it’s much better! If natural results are your top priority, I really recommend it. So I had the surgery, and even on the day itself, the swelling really wasn’t severe. Even around one week, it was to the point where I could walk around outside without issue. Around 2-3 weeks, it still had an in-out line feel, so I even thought it would be nice if it didn’t go down more. In the end, I’m satisfied! I just hope it lasts a long, long time and doesn’t come undone again laterㅜㅜ
