For the first surgery, I had posterior canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty together, but after a few months, the outer corner of my eye didn’t become a perfect ㄷ shape; it healed together into a rounded shape. So I was really stressed. In the end, I contacted the hospital where I had the surgery, and they said they would do a secondary surgery again for free. So I had the revision surgery again around this time last year. The surgery was more or less a success!! But maybe I strained my eyes too much, because it healed together in an even more rounded shape than before. I think with posterior canthoplasty, the surgeon’s skill is really important, but aftercare is also very important. Aftercare after posterior canthoplasty... I think it’s really difficult This is just my personal opinion, but if any of you are considering posterior canthoplasty!! If possible, don’t get posterior canthoplasty! Your eyes do get bigger, but I think side effects like asymmetry or a ㄷ-shaped appearance happen more easily compared with other surgeries. Anyway, that was my spectacular posterior canthoplasty review~~
