I've had a lot of concerns for a long time because of my protruding mouth. People said I looked pouty, and when I closed my mouth, it didn't close comfortably. Is it called a chin crease? Because I had to put in effort and purse my lips, I was always self-conscious, and I felt like I couldn't give others a clear first impression. So I made a big decision... I live outside Seoul, and I went to well-known places in my local area, and I also went to several hospitals in Seoul for consultations and estimates. After thinking and thinking, I decided, and as of tomorrow, it will finally be exactly one month since my surgery. First of all, right after surgery, I could feel that my mouth shape had changed dramatically, so I was so happy. My mouth has gone in.. With that thought, even though the swelling was severe and my face was puffy, I think I managed the swelling step by step with hope. My family and people around me also looked at my face and said that the pouty look caused by the protruding mouth was gone, that I looked softer, and that it turned out so well. They made such a fuss saying I looked younger, so even though it hadn't been long since the surgery, I kept feeling good. Now that it's been a month, there's almost no pain, but I heard that even after protruding mouth surgery, you have to take good care of the inside of your mouth for a month, so I brushed and gargled diligently and was careful about what I ate. These days, except for really tough foods, I eat almost everything! I can chew things like meat well and it doesn't hurt! The only thing is that because of the cheekbone surgery, my mouth still doesn't open well ㅠㅠ And aside from it being a little difficult when I yawn, there is no disruption to daily life at all!
For swelling care, there wasn't anything grand. I drank a lot of water and walked a lot~ I don't have much major swelling, but I still have minor swelling, so I keep drinking lots of water and walking every day! The swelling around my eyes and nose has gone down a lot too, but overall there are still some parts that feel slightly awkward. Still, the swelling went down better than I worried it would, and as time passes it seems to be settling into place, so I'm relieved. Now I'm spending time looking forward to becoming more natural and prettier once the remaining swelling goes down. There doesn't seem to be much information about protruding mouth surgery.. I also searched everywhere while looking into the surgery, so if there are people who are worried about a protruding mouth like I was, please ask me.. I know that feeling well.. haha Everyone, please be careful of COVID~
