These days I keep thinking even more, why didn’t I get double-jaw surgery sooner?
I really think that if you have a complex, you somehow have to ㅋㅋㅋ do something about it.! When someone took photos of me, being told that my mouth looked awkward was so, so stressful, and I wanted to improve it, so I decided to get double-jaw surgery!! Since my main priority was improving my mouth, I decided to focus on oral and maxillofacial surgery clinics for consultations. I had consultations at other places too, but when I had one at a certain oral surgery clinic, it felt a bit more professional and I really thought ㅋㅋㅋ I could trust them and leave it to them without hesitation, so I booked on the same day and quickly got double-jaw surgery!!
Honestly, on day 1 after double-jaw surgery, I didn’t swell as much as I thought, so I thought if it stayed like this, it would be okay ㅋㅋㅋ But by week 1, there was a lot of swelling … haha.. because I’m the type who would go back to work right after discharge.. It was hard, but thinking about it now, I honestly wonder how I endured it ㅎㅎ Around week 2 after double-jaw surgery, people around me said the swelling had gone down a lot, and I remember practicing opening my mouth a lot too^^
It has only been 2 months since double-jaw surgery, so I can still feel that some swelling remains, but these days I’m actually looking forward to how it will look once all the swelling is gone>< Now I can eat well as long as the food isn’t hard, and when I open my mouth wide, three fingers fit inㅎㅎ!! I’m working hard on mouth-opening exercises, so I’m continuing to practice opening my mouth a lot~
