A very long time ago, I had surgery with silicone and had been living fine, but starting a few years ago, I felt like my nose was becoming upturned. People around me said they couldn't really tell, but once that thought crossed my mind, I started worrying that maybe complications were developing~ I took photos with my phone every day, couldn't sleep, and lived anxiously, and I felt like I was going to develop a mental illness if I kept going like this, so I removed the silicone and had revision surgery with autologous dermis~ I know the advantages of autologous dermis, but I had heard so many disadvantages, like the height is hard to predict, your original nose shape shows through (my nasal bridge is on the wider side), the contour isn't very defined, and the avatar period is long, etc., so I couldn't get the surgery right away and held out by getting fat-grafting injections in my nose (the silicone was showing through), but I felt like I couldn't keep going anymore, so I had the surgery~ I think my avatar period will be much longer than other people's. Even when I get fillers, they take much longer to go down compared with other people, so even now it is going down a bit slowly, but I'm living with the thought that if not for this chance, when else would I get to live with such a high nose? Fortunately, since I wear a mask when I go out, there aren't major restrictions in daily life~. Since one month after my nose surgery, I've been drinking a huge amount of alcohol almost every day, but I haven't had any inflammation or other complications, and being freed from the worry and anxiety that my nose might cause problems makes me feel so comfortable and happy. For those worried about complications, I really strongly recommend autologous dermis.
