After<surgical results >Before<scar progress (the very last photo is week 3) >Before<my aesthetic preference.. >Before<recovery room photo.. it was really nice, but it’s dark because I was in so much pain that I asked my dad to turn off the lightsㅠ(?)>First of all, this clinic never asked me to write a post + I want to make it clear that I did not receive any extra service in exchange for writing this, and I received no benefit whatsoever. I just have the kind of personality that likes writing things like this..
First of all, my body-shape ideal was Ai Shinozaki + Polynesian women, that slightly plump, fleshy look with femininity absolutely exploding, so every time I went for consultations, I explained to the doctors, “I absolutely do not want a lot removed, but I do want my waistline to go in. I reaaally, reaaally do not want a bony abdomen or anything like that, and I’d like it to feel natural!! Also, please leave the fat above both sides of my pelvis just a little thick.” And in the end, the line I wanted came out.. Honestly, even before, aside from my belly sticking out like a pregnant woman’s after eating, I thought I had a plump, cute, decent body, but once I started going around for liposuction consultations and getting photos taken with an unfiltered camera, that delusion shattered completely. Now when I look at old photos, I’m like, wait, my body was really like that? Ahem.
The first time I found out about this clinic was because there was one person in a community whose pelvic fat grafting had turned out well, and the price was much cheaper than other clinics (at first I was looking for clinics that could hide the scars, so the quotes from those clinics were nauseatingly expensive..), so I went for a consultation.. But while I was looking up reviews in the community, there were a few reviews like “ㅠㅠThe director is so sweet and handsomeㅎㅎ,” so it kind of rubbed me the wrong way and I was like, hmm.. is this rightㄱ-..? Also, it’s located in Gangnam + the clinic lobby is in a completely white tone and has that Cheongdam-style vibe, so it felt too much like a large factory-style clinic. Even while waiting, I was a bit like, is this right? (local roots, lol)
My final impression of the clinic is that the head director has a bit of the vibe of the math instructor Jung Seung-je, and he is very careful both when touching the body and when speaking. My pelvis is tilted, so my navel is not exactly in the center + the height of my rib positions differs (he said it’s because I carry my bag on one side, and I really do have that habit). I had been to other expensive clinics, but this was the first time someone noticed and explained that. Also, he answered various other questions very professionally (his way of speaking is like Jung Seung-je), so I paid right away. They use a skin protector + the recovery rooms were really completely brand-new, and there were about 4? quite a lot + the price was about half the level of the expensive places (because I had a lot of fat, so the additional fees piled on like crazy..) + they tried to understand my needs + they use both mechanical and handmade methods + scar laser and, among all the clinics I visited, they provide the most aftercare (I understand it as 2 sessions of radiofrequency and 2 sessions of low-frequency treatment, but I’m not totally sure) + it was the only clinic where I couldn’t find any review saying adhesion had occurred, and more than anything, the doctor has a bit of a “true doctor” feeling..
As for the surgery itself, it was freaking hard, and because my gastritis flared up during surgery, the abdominal and flank love-handle surgeries were done separately, so having surgery twice was kind of too much (my fault). It was hard.. On the first day, it felt like being stabbed for about 2-3 hours, then around evening I miraculously became totally fine -> from the next day, you can think of hell starting, and until one week, the sensation is strange and uncomfortable -> by the day the stitches are removed at 2 weeks, I think you can consider yourself about 80% back to normal!!
They said that when stomach acid came up, I couldn’t breathe well because of it, so they did endotracheal intubation. But unlike what I imagined, after surgery I had absolutely no foreign-body sensation in my throat or anything like that, and if they hadn’t told me, I don’t think I would have known. Everyone, please manage your gastritis well..
This review was written at week 3, so I think there may be changes in the line and whatever else later. If I can add photo reviews later by trying on a bikini or other clothes, I’ll add them.. Anyway, right now I’m 10000% satisfied. I like a plump belly, so I even considered only having waist surgery and not removing anything from the abdomen at all (thinking back now, I was crazy), but more than getting a waistline, the reduction in my abdomen was really.. the move of God.. haha
