Phew, as the title says, it has been exactly 3 weeks since I had incisional ptosis correction + double eyelid surgery. There is still some residual swelling left, but it feels like I’ve recovered about 70–80%. Or maybe it only feels that way, and more swelling will still go down...? How long does it usually take for swelling to go down completely? The problem is, as you can see in the photo, there is slight asymmetry. On the left side, the double eyelid is slightly visible toward the outer corner of the eye, but on the right side it’s hidden to the point that it almost looks like a monolid.. It’s not that I prefer one side over the other; I just wish either side would become symmetrical If more time passes, will more swelling go down and make them look similar?
