Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

Shaved down from an asymmetrical face to a clean V-line

The before-and-after surgery went well, so I feel good, but I can’t exactly brag to people around me.. I do want to show it here and there, so(?) I’m writing a post in this community too. After surgery, I looked at my pre-op photos for the first time in a while and they felt like a dark chapter. I seriously want to delete all the photos from back then lololol They were photos I posted on Instagram, in my own way... hehe Anyway, I had been interested in plastic surgery since puberty, when I cared a lot about my appearance. I was slightly young to get plastic surgery and didn’t have money, so I tended to get a lot of lighter procedures or petit treatments!

When I only got procedures, I would just look up prices and reviews, and if I thought, oh, this place seems okay, I’d book right away and get the procedure the same day. But facial contouring is still surgery that shaves bone, so I couldn’t do it like that, you know? I was one of those people too, and I searched a lot through cafes and apps here and there.. One reason I researched so hard was because my face wasn’t severely in need of contouring, so I think I was looking for a director who could operate more delicately. The asymmetry was also subtle enough that you wouldn’t notice it with a quick glance, (actually it was my complex, but friends would ask what part was asymmetrical) so I wanted to have it done by a director with lots of experience whose surgery time also didn’t take too long..

First, I had a long-curve mandibular angle reduction, and for the front chin I had a V-osteotomy to reduce the length. I was so nervous until the day before surgery that I couldn’t sleep properly before lying on the operating table. Everyone getting surgery, please make sure to rest well before your surgery.. After waking up from general anesthesia, I was so sleepy that I was totally groggy lol.

The most uncomfortable thing after facial contouring surgery is eating. My body is on the thin side, but my appetite is practically like Tzuyang’s. Even if I eat one meal a day, I always eat a lot, you know? But because of my cheekbones, I couldn’t open my mouth properly, and I had to fill my stomach with things that barely registered, so there were more than a couple times when I sat at home alone wearing the compression band and had tears falling.. Sounds like a lie, right? It’s real..... hahaha My favorite food is chicken, and I can’t tell you how badly I wanted to grab one drumstick and tear into it..

Still, I didn’t want to ruin a surgery I paid good money for, so I held out for about 5 days, but eventually ordered chicken and ate it in extremely tiny pieces. No, saying I ate it makes me feel a bit guilty.. I guess I should say I drank it.

Anyway, I struggled quite a bit with eating. Shampooing is possible 3 days after surgery once the bandage is removed (they told me to wash with my head tilted back). I don’t know if other clinics are like this too, but the clinic gave me what they called a facial contouring kit, with things like New Care and ice packs, and I used it pretty usefully in its own way (the most useful thing was the children’s toothbrush lol).

It took less than a month for the bruises to change from blue to yellow and move downward, and after a month, it was pretty hard to tell I had surgery! For swelling, I mainly did compresses and walks, but I think I benefited more from walking than compresses. There was quite a difference between when I walked and when I didn’t.

I’m a bride-to-be, so after facial contouring surgery I waited until the swelling went down and successfully finished my wedding photoshoot. Since I was worried something might happen before the shoot, during consultation I casually mentioned that I had to get married, so they needed to do it well without side effects.. And the facial line came out so clean that I’m completely satisfied! My face also got smaller from the contouring, so thanks to that it became half the size compared to my groom-to-be’s face, thank you.
