2-week review of medial canthoplasty and lower lateral canthoplasty

It’s been 18 days since I had medial canthoplasty and lower lateral canthoplasty with Director Song Hoon at Jeonhu Giraffe Plastic Surgery! From day 3 after surgery, conjunctival edema started getting worse, so everything from daily life to washing my hair was pretty difficult, but doing cold compresses often really helped. Also, in the early stage after surgery, I had a lot of eye discharge, and my eyelashes and stitches stuck together so I could barely open my eyes. I think I managed it by putting in artificial tears to soften it, then cleaning it up with a cotton swab. Until the conjunctival edema went down, the skin around the surgical area was bumpy, and I was anxious because I couldn’t tell whether the outer corners of my eyes were healing well. But as the swelling subsided, the shape started settling and looked more natural! For me, the swelling started going down noticeably from day 13. Now, when I sleep, I wear gloves and a sleep mask that doesn’t directly touch my eyes so I don’t scratch them. Then I’ll come back with the next review!
