I’m small-built, with a height of 157 cm and weight around 47~48 kg. My underbust circumference is also small at around 68~72 cm, and my original breasts were about 70B (before childbirth, 65C), so I wasn’t completely flat, but my breasts weren’t something I could really show off. But during pregnancy/breastfeeding, my breasts got huge (they say people usually go up two cup sizes, but I went up more than three), to the point where it was hard to find a bra that fit. After the child was mostly grown and it had been almost 2 years since I finished breastfeeding, the breasts I had became saggy, which was upsetting.
On top of that, because of stress about accessory breasts, I could never wear sleeveless tops, so I made up my mind and thought I should do my breasts and accessory breasts together while I was at it. I got a consultation and signed a contract at a place where I thought the amount and price were okay. I wanted to do it a bit later, but they said it gets too crowded after the college entrance exam, so if nothing special came up, we should do it early. Thinking about it now, I think pushing ahead was still the right choice.
The pros are that I think they recommended a size that suited me well, and things are going smoothly without any major problems or strain. At around week 6, my breasts can move and have gotten a bit softer. Of course, when you just look at them, they’re still like two rice bowls.
The cons are that maybe because it’s a large hospital, a lot of time gets taken up by waiting for consultations, aftercare, and so on, and the explanations always feel lacking. There are many things they don’t explain unless I ask, and aftercare is just fixed as 3 CAPS sessions and 2 radiofrequency sessions, so I belatedly became envious of places with unlimited aftercare. Also, the doctor is always in surgery, so it’s hard to see them. After seeing the doctor 2 days after surgery and then at week 3, you can only meet the doctor if there is a special problem, so sometimes I feel envious when I see people who get progress checks every week.
For me, it was a fairly major surgery, so I wish they would consistently check my progress and check my bra, but I’m disappointed that there isn’t anything like that ㅠ
Still, I’m satisfied with the breasts themselves, so I wrote this thinking it would be better if others also checked these things when choosing :)
