It has been 8 months since my nose surgery. I raised the nasal bridge with silicone and had the nasal tip worked on with ear cartilage.
They said it would take 6 months for all the swelling to go down, so I waited, but my nose looks crooked.... Recently I went back to that plastic surgery clinic, and they said it is because, due to facial asymmetry, the glabella and philtrum are not in a straight line...
I don’t understand why they didn’t set the bridge based on the center between the eyes, and instead based it on the glabella. Before, my nasal bridge was aligned with the center between my eyes, but after surgery it is aligned with the center of the glabella, while being off from the center between the eyes, so it looks crooked.
The glabella is an area where the center can be adjusted through eyebrow grooming, so why did they use the center of the glabella.... I think I’ll probably need revision surgery.... Ha....
In the photo, the lighting is home lighting so the crookedness looks less obvious, but in the photos taken at the plastic surgery clinic, the crookedness is clear enough to be very noticeable.
