I got it done at a clinic with no SNS promotion, and every time I went for a regular checkup, their appointments were fully booked.
I struggled badly for two and a half years with Class II malocclusion, and as you can probably tell just from seeing a little of the process, on days when I had elastics or my teeth were tightened, it was only natural that I couldn't sleep.
In the middle, I also had interproximal reduction and re-orthodontic treatment, so now my teeth are so even that people might think I got veneers, and I manage them with at-home whitening. Satisfaction is 90%. The remaining 10% is just my own greed lol I keep wondering what an even prettier mouth shape would be, and I've become interested in it... my standards have gotten higher ㅠ
Do it as early as possible. I really hope you start even when you're young, in high school if you can. Smiling, talking, and eating are this comfortable now, I gained confidence, and because of my protruding teeth my upper lip no longer rolls upward. I'm really grateful. Wherever you do it, do it somewhere skilled, at a clinic where it's easy to talk about even small concerns, and preferably one that has been focused on this path for at least five years!!
It was really hard matching my upper and lower bite because my jaw was misaligned. Even now it's not 100% alignedㅠ They say I have a mysterious jaw. They find it fascinating that it seems like it should hurt, but I live perfectly fine without pain lol One of the best choices in my life was getting orthodontic treatment.
