I went for a consultation about paranasal augmentation surgery. Since my midface is quite sunken, I also mentioned my nose and forehead in addition to paranasal augmentation surgery, but they said paranasal augmentation alone would likely be enough, so I felt reassured. They did not do any examinations or imaging. There was no explanation about how it would look after surgery or any alternative options for my concerns; it was just a short consultation where they looked only at the depression beside the nose and said something like it seemed worth operating on.
