Before <before surgery> Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> After <after surgery> My first eye surgery left me with sausage eyes, so it was totally ruined. I was just opening my eyes normally, but people kept mistaking it for me opening them wide like, “WIDE OPEN!!!” and the stress was no joke.. I really felt like I couldn’t live like this anymore, and I thought it couldn’t get any worse from here so .......... even though I had kind of given up, shouldn’t I still go somewhere good..? With that thought, and because of my own desire to get my nose fixed at the same time too, I searched and searched for a director who was good at surgery, and ended up getting eye revision surgery and nose surgery. I know very well that sausage eyes are really not easy eyes to fix. My eye lines didn’t match, there was asymmetry, and my epicanthoplasty had been done too excessively, so a lot of the lacrimal caruncle was visible,, these parts were also revised again with epicanthoplasty restoration. I know the director worked really hard to minimize the scarring as much as possible.. For my nose, not as many different materials were used compared to my eyes, and the surgery was done using only my own cartilage. I had originally thought that eyes were an easier surgery than the nose, but maybe because mine had already gone wrong once, the eyes... became the harder surgery.. Still, thankfully, my first nose surgery succeeded in one go, and although it has a natural feel, the nasal tip is also nicely raised, and the low nasal bridge that I had always felt disappointed about now has a line, so I liked that. My side profile became so pretty that when I see my shadow, I feel like the investment was worth it lol The eye revision area also has much less of the sausage look than before, and I think it looks a bit more natural. If I compare it with before, I feel like this is already such a big improvement.. My friends even say they feel relieved now when they see my eyes ㅠㅠ Before, the artificial look was strong, so it felt a bit burdensome and uncomfortable to look at, but now they say that’s gone.... Maybe it’s even more so because the left-right symmetry matches well... ha.. If I had just stayed intimidated, scared, and lived with it, I would still be living with sausage eyes.. Thinking about it now, I really feel like the decision I made back then was the right one ㅠㅠ
