I had non-open rhinoplasty 9 years ago, but as time passed, the tip kept looking increasingly blunt and droopy, which continued to bother me T_T This time, since it was revision surgery, I brought photos of the nose I wanted and clearly said I wanted a glamorous straight-to-slightly-curved line. Since the functional aspects also needed attention, I underwent functional revision rhinoplasty along with bulbous-nose correction, nasolabial angle correction, and septal reconstruction. Donor rib cartilage was used for the tip. I was really worried because it was revision surgery, but once the blunt, droopy-looking tip that had stressed me most was refined, the whole impression of my nose looked completely different. I especially wanted a tip with presence that would emerge along a straight, gently curved line, rather than simply being high and pointed, and I’m satisfied because it seems to be settling in exactly that direction. Finally finished my nose revision after 9 years lol
