It has been about three weeks since surgery, and the feeling is definitely very different from the first week haha. At first the line looked slightly awkward because of the swelling, but as the swelling went down, the shape gradually seemed to settle.
The heights of my double eyelids were originally different on each side, so I worried whenever I took photos. These days, the asymmetry does not stand out like before even in pictures, which makes me so happy T_T. Opening my eyes also feels easier than before, and the sleepy-looking impression I had when relaxed seems to be improving little by little.
The upper canthoplasty area also no longer looks stuffy at the inner corners, so I feel it was good to do it together. People around me say my eyes look clearer and my impression has changed somewhat, which makes me secretly proud lol.
There is still some residual swelling, so there are slight differences between morning and evening, but at this point recovery seems to be going well. These days I compare myself with before surgery whenever I look in the mirror, and I definitely feel I made the right decision. I still need more time to fully settle, but I am satisfied so far and looking forward to the rest of the recovery haha.
