I really wanted this revision surgery to be successful, so I went around to consultations at several hospitals famous for noses Among them, Director Jeong Yeon-ik at DI was the most thorough in the consultation and adjusted the design several times, so I had surgery here!
For the material, I used autologous costal cartilage, which the director recommended! After surgery, I had pain from about ten days to the 2-week mark, but now it’s almost gone Among the hospitals I consulted with, none provided separate care after autologous costal cartilage surgery But they said this place provides laser treatment for the scar area starting from the 1-month mark hehe...
I usually had severe rhinitis, so I also had functional nose surgery (inferior turbinate) at the same time, and I feel like breathing is gradually getting easier compared to before! Since I was already lying on the operating table, I wanted to get the most out of it, so I also had nasolabial fold surgery (paranasal augmentation) and got rid of my nasolabial folds hehe At first, I was worried the paranasal augmentation might feel like a foreign body, but after a few days it became comfortable with no sensation at all!! hehe
Since I had cosmetic rhinoplasty and functional nose surgery together, plus paranasal augmentation, I thought the recovery period would be long But every time I went to the hospital for follow-up checks, they provided thorough postoperative care and looked after me well before and after surgery, so I recovered quickly! I’ll attach photos too so you can compare the before-and-after difference hehe
