People say everyone gets prettier if the before-and-after difference is big, but that wasn’t me ㅠ I thought it was all because my nasal bridge was too low and I had a bulbous nose, so when I brought up surgery to my mom, she said to do it within a certain budget!!!! So I got really excited and went around to plastic surgery consultations with my mom, and there was one clinic I really liked. I wanted it to look natural and slim without being too pointy, and I also wanted the surgery to be as safe as possible so I wouldn’t have problems later, so I had been looking into autologous costal cartilage. This place even has an autologous costal cartilage guarantee system, so I wanted to do it there, but the cost didn’t match, causing a mother-daughter conflict ㅠㅠㅠ If I used donated rib cartilage it would be cheaper, but when I looked into it, it seemed like there were some cases of absorption and inflammation, so I just told my mom honestly, and she told me to talk to my dad ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ So in the end, I told both of them that I didn’t want to be stressed about my nose again and that I didn’t want to increase the chance of needing revision rhinoplasty.. ㅜㅜ I asked them to add a bit more so I could do it with autologous costal cartilage, and both of them said okay, so after negotiating, I got it done at the clinic I liked!!!!
I had the surgery after the CSAT, and the materials were silicone and autologous costal cartilage! For reference, they examine the autologous costal cartilage with an X-ray and check whether it has calcified(?) I’ll have to look that up. Because I had a bulbous nose, I also did nasolabial angle correction, and I think the look of my nose being pressed down has improved a lot! It just looks exactly like the shape I wanted, naturally and prettily lifted. Looking at it like this, my nose really was low before surgery... It was about to touch the ground ㅠ I thought there’d be no answer if I kept putting it off, so I did it right after the CSAT, and I really think doing it right away was the right choice. After negotiating with my mom and dad, doing it at the place I liked was seriously such a real winning move.... I’m glad I did it a hundred, a thousand times over........
