Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

About 10 years ago, I went for a consultation because of a deviated septum and ended up getting rhinoplasty...

Hello About 10 years ago, I was suffering from a deviated septum, so I looked into surgery to straighten the septum. It was a place that did both ENT and plastic surgery, and I was fooled by them saying that if I had nose surgery while correcting it, it would look much better than now. Of course, I probably had my own greed too. It wasn’t even that ugly of a nose, but I thought I might gain a little more confidence... So I thought, fine, since I’m having surgery anyway, let’s do it together, and a few days later I decided and just went through with it. I think the nasal bridge was silicone and the nasal tip was done with septal cartilage. For about 3 days after surgery, it throbbed, hurt, and swelled, but after a few days when the stitches were removed, I didn’t really feel much besides stiffness. As the swelling gradually went down, I even thought it looked okay. And the nasal congestion from the deviated septum seemed to have improved too. I lived without any major side effects, but even after several months, this darn nasal tip showed no sign of becoming soft. So after looking into it here and there, I only then found out that when rhinoplasty is done with silicone and septal cartilage, it does not become soft like a normal nose. Ah... my head went blank. Do I have to live like this for the rest of my life... why did I stupidly do this... From then on, the dark period of my life began. No matter what I did, I was conscious of my nose. I couldn’t even go get skin care, and I was scared to exercise. Even if someone just brought their hand near my nose, I got startled and scared. To say “I had plastic surgery,” my heart and personality were just too timid...ㅠㅠ I think I spent 10 dark years like that. Of course, it may also be because I have that kind of personality.

Anyway, I guess plastic surgery doesn’t suit me... Currently, I’ve decided on removal surgery and plan to go for hospital consultations. I just want anyone who is planning surgery and doesn’t know, like I didn’t, that the nasal tip can become hard to think it over once more and look into it carefully. Well, these days I’ve also seen posts saying that with various surgical methods, the nose can become completely soft like a natural nose and even make a pig nose. I had mine done while completely ignorant about plastic surgery... so I regret it a lot.

After thinking about it continuously, I decided to have it removed. I haven’t had consultations yet, and I plan to go for consultations around next week. I want to meet a good hospital, remove it well, and quickly go back to my old nose, my natural nose. This was a long, rambling post, but thank you for reading. To those planning plastic surgery, and those like me who are thinking about removal, I hope none of you suffer and that you all have a happy day!^^
