First of all, I excluded factory-style clinics with multiple doctors and looked mainly into single-doctor clinics as much as possible. I went to several places, but I’ll only talk about the ones that stayed in my memory.
1. ㄸㅋ I made an appointment with the representative director. First of all, the wait was way~~ too long. Even though I had an appointment, I think the waiting time alone was over 1 hour. The director did have a confident way of speaking, but maybe because of that, he felt a bit arrogant? I didn’t feel that he was kind. He just explained exactly what was possible and what was not, and that was it. The manager in charge wasn’t kind either and felt too stiff. While waiting, I saw that there seemed to be many patient complaint issues related to reservations. In several ways, I saw things that made me lose trust. The price was higher than expected, and the surgical method didn’t really appeal to me, so I just left.
2. ㅎㄱ I had also been diagnosed as needing a lift, so I went to a clinic specializing in lifting too. They advertise a lot and appear a lot on YouTube, so I went, and there were quite a few waiting patients. The manager was just so-so. The director was kind too, but when my questions increased, he seemed a little annoyed. Also, the estimate differed too much from what I had heard in another cafe (almost double? I guess there were a lot of promotional posts), so my trust dropped sharply. And they only said that a lift was the answer no matter what, so I just received the estimate and left.
3. ㅈ It’s a single-doctor clinic, and I went because they said they specialize in lifting and eyes. There was no wait. The doctor’s consultation was kind and he explained in detail, so I was about 80% decided that I would do it there. I consulted with the manager, and although the price was much higher than expected, with that 80% feeling I even paid a deposit, but after visiting other places my mind changedㅠㅠ The manager pressured me to pay the deposit. But decisively, when I heard explanations at other places about the surgical method this doctor suggested, I began to think it carried some risk, so my mind changed. They said the deposit is 100% non-refundable, so I’m depressedㅠ
4. ㅋㅅㅌ I went here too because they said it was a single-doctor clinic specializing in eyes, but it was the worst. First, the waiting time was long, and the staff attitude was also a bit insincere. At first I met the manager, and she told me to wait in a room, then left me alone in a tiny room for over 20 minutes without any guidance. I waited, then eventually went out and asked the desk staff, and they told me to wait about 10 more minutes. In the end, after waiting more than 30 minutes, I met the director. The director clearly said what was possible and what was not, and the diagnosis was clear. But some parts were a little different from what I heard at other hospitals, so it was ambiguous. Neither kind nor unkind, just so-so. A bit later, the manager came and I received the estimate... the first estimate and final estimate differed by about 2 times. They kept lowering the price while talking, which made my trust drop too much. The pressure to pay a deposit was also strong. Anyway, among the places I visited, the manager’s attitude was kind of the worst. I think this place needs some CS improvement.
I went to many more places here and there, and for now I’ve decided on rankings for a few places in my mind, but the surgical methods recommended by each hospital are a bit divided, so I think I need to go to more places before I can decide... Consultation legwork and online research are so exhaustingㅠ
