Around this time last year, I had double buried-suture double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty. I didn’t want it to look obvious, so I had it done naturally (6 mm), and I think there wasn’t much swelling either. People seeing me for the very first time have no idea I had double eyelid surgery. Even when I went for a rhinoplasty consultation, the consultant didn’t notice. Now it looks a bit like an inner double eyelid, so that’s a little disappointing, but I’m fairly satisfied in my own way. As for side effects, I don’t think there are any except that the inner corner of my eye gets insanely itchy about once every 3 weeks.
